Privacy Policy

What the app uses

Tazkera does not require an account and does not include advertising or analytics SDKs. Reading position, bookmarks, memorization and review progress, khatmah plans, tasbeeh counts, preferences, downloaded recitations and tafsir are stored on your device.

If you choose to export a backup, the app creates a JSON file containing your selected progress and settings. You decide where to share that file using your device's share sheet.

Permissions

• Location: With your permission, the app uses your location to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction on your device. The last location or a city you select is saved on your device for later use. The app does not intentionally send your coordinates to our servers.
• Motion: Device sensor readings support the Qibla compass.
• Notifications: Prayer and reminder notifications are scheduled locally on your device.
• Microphone: The current App Store release does not offer voice recording or transmit microphone audio. If a future release introduces recitation checking, this policy will be updated before that feature becomes available.

Network services

When you request audio or downloadable tafsir, the app connects to providers including audio.qurancdn.com, everyayah.com and api.github.com. Those providers receive normal connection information such as your IP address and the requested file; their own privacy policies apply.

These content requests do not include your reading progress or saved settings. The app does not include advertising or tracking SDKs.

Retention and your choices

App data and downloaded files stay on your device until you remove them or delete the app. Copies of backups you share must be deleted wherever you saved or sent them.

You can change location and notification permissions in iOS Settings. For privacy questions or to request deletion of support correspondence, email Ahmed.shehab.7356@gmail.com. We retain support emails as needed to respond and will delete them on request, subject to any legal obligation.

Children and changes

The app does not require children to create an account and does not use advertising or tracking SDKs. If our data practices change, we will update this page and its effective date.
